This is a game-based platform and software where students can build and take quizzes named “kahoots”. one of the biggest education websites in the world is visited by over 40 million people each month (Keane, 2017). Kahoot quizzes can be completed for almost any internet enabled computer. Kahoot questions may be created by someone with a Kahoot account.
Kahoot was made to be accessible and easy to use for students. It has a basic interface with no reliance on language, which can be used without logging in or installing something. it is designed to involve students in social learning, as they all assemble around a common device and compete with one another Kahoot encourages students to look away from their screens to have contact with the class. It has been found that students feel more energized when utilizing the platform (Zarzycka-Piskorz, 2016). Simply placed, Kahoot is a flexible for teachers and students to use.
What is the practical result of that you are hoping to obtain?
In order to use Kahoot in a classroom, you need a computer with which both students will interact. This is the control point from which the quiz is run. The first step is to selecting the quiz that the students choose to take (Figure 1). Beginning the quiz will have a code that students may input into a separate website Each student is allowed to play on their own computer or with their friends. At this stage, students should also insert their names. If everybody has entered a name, the name will be registered in the central computer, and the quiz will begin.

students would need to be able to interpret the query from the central screen and perform the activity as soon as possible It is done through the computer. when all students have responded, the right response is seen and the points are given out. if the quiz is completed, the winning student or team will be announced.
Categories of quizzes
There are two kinds of question games you can make with Kahoot: this question uses a multiple-choice format a question is asked, and students may choose one of two to four answers Formal: The second variety is Jumble. Both four elements must be in the right order for this game to proceed. This is accomplished by selecting and dragging the various objects to-be-be-picked items on the screen.
It is amazing how much innovation is achievable inside this basic structure. The question and response forms are solely the choice of the instructor, who may use photographs, pictures, and diagrams. This is really simple since the Kahoot has a wealth of media material. However, you should add your own files as well. Additionally, instructors have the option to change how much time the students have and how many marks they would be given. adjusting these settings would shift the quiz’s vibe from a frenetic, high-energy one to a reflective one It is also possible to play this game in non-quiz mode. One is used to promote conversation, and the other is used to collect feedback from students.
There is still more secret scope that I recommend people to try out online. There is a large online group of people who want to participate in Kahoot games. You will preview and monitor your own Kahoots before distributing them to others. This is the ideal scenario to try new ideas to see what is successful and what is not.
Examples of Author’s Use in the Classroom
There are so many applications to pick from in this piece. I have used it successfully in the classroom in the following ways:
Use Kahoot to practice the sections of the TOEIC
Kahoot is a great place to practice one part of the TOEIC test: uploading pictures is easy. The only important thing is to do is to illustrate four series of images, then make students choose the right one. Fig. 2 utilizes an animal illustration that students usually want to interact with.
The use of Kahoot in preparation for TOEIC It must be realised that things will and will change quickly with customers.
The movie Jumble is a perfect opportunity to practice your sentence construction
This is easy to construct, and beneficial for sentence structure practice. While it is somewhat limiting, there are just four questions in the quiz. Figures 3 illustrates inactive tasks.

What would you rather do? What kinds of courses are you searching for in the college of your choice?
This task employs the survey instrument. over and over- and otherwise — on ‘What would you rather be doing?’ or ‘How would you rather be wasting your time?’ (Figure 4). Instead of determining their own choice, students are required to debate with a classmate what the most famous response would be prior to presenting their ideas.

Kahootify your own
Kahoot is very simple to set up, which encourages students to set up their own kahoots. My suggestion is to use class hashtags (e.g. #Freshman8) for that purpose.
Following this logic, it follows that
Kahoot can also makes it easier to use gamification for any lesson, course, or lecture you choose. Making fun quizzes provides you with various topics to base your lessons on. You can use all Kahoot bot spams quizzes for free, including this one. This ensures that you will use other educators’ Kahoot games in addition. These teachers are branded with hashtags, and there are several ESL/EFL teachers already. To build a Kahoot for educators in Japan, we might tweet about our projects using the hashtag [LTK]. This way, we can create a resource that meets most of our teaching environments and needs
